Mansfield Soccer Association: Brooklyn FC Soccer Club Announces Maimonides Park as Home Stadium in Coney Island | USL League One Franchise

Mansfield Soccer Association – Last year marked the fulfillment of a dream for soccer enthusiasts in New York City as Brooklyn FC was granted a spot in the USL League One by the United Soccer League. What began as an idea blossomed into reality with the club’s official announcement in June. But it wasn’t just about forming a team; it was about crafting an identity, an essence that would define Brooklyn FC.

From the get-go, the club aimed to encapsulate the spirit of Brooklyn, weaving its essence into every aspect. Their initial social media posts painted a vivid picture: the bustling Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue subway terminal, the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, all serving as backdrops to their vision. Through these images, they sought to evoke the very fabric of Brooklyn life—the steam rising from the streets, the constant hum of activity, the sense of community ingrained in every brick of the brownstones.

Amidst this evocative imagery lay a tantalizing hint of the future: Brooklyn FC was soon to unveil its home ground. And in a move that perfectly encapsulated the essence of the borough, they chose Maimonides Park in Coney Island. Nestled beside the beach and the famous boardwalk, this historic location once played host to the New York Cosmos and is currently home to the beloved Brooklyn Cyclones of Minor League Baseball. It’s a place where the heartbeat of Brooklyn reverberates through the stands, where the cheers of fans blend with the crashing waves—a fitting stage for Brooklyn FC’s journey into the world of professional soccer.
